ICS is based in Taiwan and was founded in 1983 and started out mainly producing gas powered guns and pistols.As electric powered airsoft guns started to rise in popularity they took notice and began to produce very high quality AEG’S in 1998. The gearbox in the ICS guns was designed with a split design that uses two compartments in the gearbox. In the lower assembly the trigger and gears are housed. In the upper section you will find the cylinder, piston and the piston head. If you ever want to repair or upgrade your ICS this modular system makes it very fast and easy to do!

Not only is their gearbox easy to work on but it is also reinforced, has metal gears and bushings and has very tight manufacturing tolerances.These stock items are something that you have to pay extra for if you buy a Chinese made gun.
